Article I · Which size

The 12.5 ft (3.8M) is $149.99 and reaches gutters on most single story and ranch homes, and it does everything indoors. The 16.4 ft (5M) is $179.99 and is the one for two story work. Both carry the same 330 lb rating and both ship free. If you are unsure and your ceilings are normal, the 12.5 ft is your local. Pick your size on the buttons above and the dues update everywhere.

Article II · What 330 lb actually covers

One adult, a loaded tool belt, and margin. It is not a two person ladder, and no ladder is a two person ladder no matter what your brother in law says.

Article III · Safety, played straight

Check that every latch clicks before weight goes on it. Feet flat on solid ground, correct lean angle, no standing on the top rungs at full extension. Retract it fully and control the collapse. Read the printed warnings. They are printed for a reason.
