This page explains what we collect, why, and what we do not do. It is short because we genuinely collect very little.
What we collect
- Order information. When you buy, PayPal passes us your name, shipping address, and email address so we can ship the ladder and contact you about the order.
- Email correspondence. If you email us, we keep the thread so we can help you.
- Basic analytics. Aggregate, non-identifying data about how people use this site, such as which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors are located.
What we never see
We never receive your payment details. Your card number, bank details, and PayPal password go directly to PayPal and are never transmitted to us or stored on this site. We only learn that a payment succeeded.
What we do with it
We use your information to fulfil your order, provide support, process returns and refunds, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. That is the entire list.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information. Not to anyone, for any price.
- We do not rent or trade your email address.
- We do not send marketing email unless you explicitly ask us to.
Who we share it with
Only the parties needed to complete your order: PayPal (payment processing), UPS and our fulfilment warehouse (delivery), and Google Analytics (aggregate site statistics). We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@local330gear.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep certain order records where tax or accounting law requires it.
Data retention and security
We keep order records for as long as required for accounting and warranty purposes, and correspondence for as long as it is useful for support. This site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not hold payment data, which removes the most sensitive category entirely.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
